Kathy Edwards Awarded Associate of the Year by IFMA Houston

The Houston chapter executive committee decides on the professional and associate vendor members of the year that display the highest level of involvement, attitude and performance with the association and assisted the association to achieve their goals.

Kathy Edwards, APEX Surface Care (formerly Corporate Floors), has been selected by the IFMA Houston chapter, as their Associate Member of 2016.

In the past 8 years, Kathy has served as chair for the community relations committee, benefiting the Salvation Army residence center through events and fundraisers. She has planned parties for Easter, casino events, silent auctions, run back to school events for children at the shelter and for several years has been the golf tournament committee chair that benefits a Scholarship Foundation.

Kathy has also been the spearhead for the stuffed animal drive. The annual Hug a Bear event is held to provide first responders with bears to give to children in crisis.
